What to look at when your labs are "normal" and you still don't feel like yourself.
Without another diet, even if you've been told everything looks normal, and you don't have to sort through the conflicting advice on your own.

You wake up tired, lose your words and crash every afternoon. Your labs came back normal, so you've started to think this is just your new normal.
The one question we start with for every woman in my practice: why are these symptoms happening together, and what changed? You'll do a short exercise to see your own pattern, and learn the three questions to ask about any lab result.
In hospital medicine, I kept meeting women who looked normal on paper and didn't feel normal at all. A normal lab result is one piece of information. It was never the whole explanation.
Fast longer. Eat more often. Take hormones. Avoid hormones. It's cortisol, it's insulin, it's your thyroid. The advice keeps contradicting itself, and trying all of it at once burns you out by Thursday.
Why so much of that advice can be right and still be wrong for you, how to find the few pieces that are pulling on everything else, and how to choose two or three things to start with.
One of our clients came in with seven symptoms. Instead of seven answers, she got one plan, in order, starting with the foundations that touched several symptoms at once.
You've eaten less, cut sugar, added cardio and tried the supplements. Your body keeps pushing back.
Why eating less and doing more often stops working after 40, the foundations most women are missing, when testing, hormone therapy or medication make sense, and how to tell whether what you're doing is working.
That same client built up to daily bowel movements, clearer skin and the gym four days a week, and several areas of her health improved at the same time.
You're a woman between 35 and 55 who used to run at full speed, and lately you wake up tired, lose your words and crash every afternoon.
You've tried eating less, fasting, keto, more cardio, cutting sugar or supplements, and your body isn't responding the way it used to.
You've been told "everything looks normal" or "you're just getting older," and you know something is off.
You want to understand why this is happening, and you don't want another diet.
You're ready to look at the whole picture instead of chasing the next single answer.
I'm Katie Long, and I help women 35 to 55 understand what's driving their brain fog, fatigue and weight resistance, and what to do about it.
On paper, I'm a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years in healthcare. I started as a nursing assistant, became a registered nurse in 2005 and a nurse practitioner in 2020, and I've worked in hospitals, nursing homes, home care and pain management. I still work in hospital internal medicine today, and I've trained in functional medicine, metabolic health, women's hormones and gut health.
A few years ago, I noticed changes in my own energy, sleep, thinking and body. When I took them to my own provider, I got a single estrogen level, no explanation, no follow-up, and I was never given the result. I'm a nurse practitioner, and I still walked out feeling unheard. I kept thinking about every woman who doesn't speak the language.
That's why I started Novaleo Weight & Wellness, a virtual practice for women in Michigan and Wisconsin. We listen to the whole story, look for how the symptoms connect, and build a plan around each woman, using both conventional medicine and functional medicine.
The full list of questions I ask every woman on her first visit, from sleep, energy and cravings to protein, your cycle, thyroid, fasting insulin, digestion and what changed, plus a 14-day symptom tracker so you can see your own pattern on paper.

Yes. The workshop is education, and anyone is welcome.
Yes, for 48 hours. The Whole Picture Symptom Map is only for live attendees, so join live if you can.
Just a pen and paper. We'll do the Live Connection Check together: a short checklist you fill in and post in the chat, and we read the patterns as they come in. It only works live.
Weight is one of the three symptoms we'll talk about, alongside brain fog and fatigue. The workshop is about why they show up together and what to look at, so it's about your health as a whole.
You'll learn a different way of looking at your symptoms, as one connected picture. Most of what women have tried was one answer for one symptom.
